What is a Temple Filler?
Temple filler restores volume to the temples — the area beside the eyes that hollows with age or weight loss. Sunken temples create a gaunt, skeletal look and can make the brow appear to drop. Filling them softens the upper face and can subtly lift the brow and tail of the eye.
Treatment takes 15 to 30 minutes using hyaluronic acid filler or a collagen stimulator. Results are immediate and continue to settle over 1 to 2 weeks. Hyaluronic acid results last 12 to 18 months.
The temple is an anatomically delicate area with important blood vessels, so it should only be injected by an experienced provider.
How much does a Temple Filler cost?
Temple filler nationally typically costs $650 to $900, usually for one syringe treating both sides. Deeper hollowing may need additional product.

What to ask your provider
- Are my temples the right area to treat for the look I want?
- Will you use hyaluronic acid filler or a collagen stimulator?
- How much product do you anticipate I will need?
- What is your experience injecting the temple area specifically?
- How do you reduce the risk of vascular complications in this area?
- How long should results last and when is a touch-up needed?
