What is Daxxify?
Daxxify is the newest FDA-approved neuromodulator for frown lines, and its standout feature is duration. It is formulated with a peptide instead of human or animal proteins, and in clinical trials results lasted notably longer than traditional Botox — often 6 months versus the usual 3 to 4.
Treatment takes 10 to 15 minutes. Results appear within 2 to 3 days and peak at around 2 weeks. Because it lasts longer, providers often price Daxxify higher per treatment than Botox, but you may need fewer visits per year.
Daxxify is dosed differently from Botox — its units are not interchangeable — so do not compare unit counts across products. Ask your provider for the per-treatment price.
