What is Xeomin?
Xeomin (incobotulinumtoxinA) is an FDA-approved neuromodulator that works like Botox and Dysport to temporarily relax facial muscles and soften wrinkles. It is often called "naked Botox" because it is formulated without the complexing proteins found in Botox — just pure botulinum toxin type A.
This stripped-down formulation means Xeomin does not require refrigeration before opening and may be less likely to cause antibody formation over time (though the clinical significance of this is debated). Xeomin units are 1:1 equivalent to Botox units. Results appear in 3 to 5 days and last 3 to 4 months.
How much does Xeomin cost?
Xeomin nationally typically costs $10–$15 per unit, with a typical full treatment totaling $300–$700. Xeomin units are equivalent to Botox units (1:1), making price comparisons straightforward.
