What is an Emsella?
Emsella is a non-invasive treatment for pelvic floor strengthening, used primarily for urinary incontinence and to improve intimate wellness. You sit fully clothed on a special chair that emits high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) energy, triggering thousands of pelvic floor muscle contractions per session — the equivalent of doing thousands of Kegels.
Each session lasts about 28 minutes with no downtime, and the standard protocol is 6 sessions over 3 weeks. Many patients notice improved bladder control and core support, with results building over the series.
It is popular after childbirth and around menopause. Pricing is per session, usually sold as a package.
How much does an Emsella cost?
Emsella nationally typically costs $300 to $500 per session, usually sold as a package of about 6 sessions.

What to ask your provider
- Is Emsella appropriate for my type of incontinence?
- How many sessions does your protocol include?
- When should I expect to notice improvement?
- Is the price per session or for the full package?
- Will I need maintenance sessions later?
- Are there any reasons I should not have this treatment?
