What is a Sclerotherapy?
Sclerotherapy is the gold-standard treatment for spider veins and small varicose veins, most often on the legs. A solution is injected directly into the vein, irritating its lining so it collapses, seals shut, and is gradually absorbed by the body. Blood reroutes through healthier veins.
Each session takes 15 to 45 minutes. Treated veins fade over several weeks, and most people need 1 to 3 sessions per area. Compression stockings are usually worn afterward, but there is minimal downtime.
Larger or deeper veins may need ultrasound-guided or laser vein treatment instead. Pricing is per session.
How much does a Sclerotherapy cost?
Sclerotherapy nationally typically costs $300 to $500 per session, with most patients needing 1 to 3 sessions per area for full clearance.
