What is a Keloid Injections?
A keloid injection delivers a corticosteroid, most commonly triamcinolone (Kenalog), directly into raised scar tissue to soften and flatten it. The steroid slows the overproduction of collagen that made the scar grow beyond the original wound, and it usually calms the itching and tenderness before the scar visibly changes.
