What is a Nano Brows?
Nano brows are a permanent makeup technique that creates ultra-fine, hair-like strokes using a single, very thin needle attached to a digital tattoo machine, rather than the hand-held blade used in microblading. The machine deposits pigment more gently and consistently, which makes nano strokes a better option for oily, mature, or sensitive skin where microblading tends to blur.
Treatment takes 2 to 3 hours with a topical numbing cream. Brows look bold for the first week, then lighten by 30 to 50% as they heal. A mandatory touch-up at 6 to 8 weeks perfects the strokes. Results typically last 1 to 3 years, often slightly longer than microblading because the machine deposits pigment more reliably.
Because it does not cut the skin the way a blade does, nano brows are generally gentler, heal more predictably, and are less likely to cause scarring. The realism of the result depends heavily on the artist's stroke pattern and brow mapping.
How much does a Nano Brows cost?
Nano brows nationally typically cost $600 to $1,000 for the initial session, usually including one mandatory touch-up at 6 to 8 weeks.

What to ask your provider
- Why are you recommending nano over microblading or powder for my skin?
- Can I see healed nano brow photos, not just fresh work?
- Is the 6 to 8 week touch-up included?
- What machine and needle configuration do you use?
- How do you map and design the brow shape with me first?
- What aftercare do you require?
