What is Liposuction?
Liposuction is a surgical procedure that removes stubborn fat deposits from targeted areas of the body — most commonly the abdomen, flanks, thighs, arms, back, and chin. It is a body-contouring procedure, not a weight-loss treatment, and works best when you are at or near a stable goal weight.
Surgery is performed under general or local anesthesia with sedation and takes 1 to 3 hours depending on the number of areas treated. Most patients return to desk work in 1 to 2 weeks and resume full activity at 4 to 6 weeks. Final results are visible at 3 to 6 months once swelling fully resolves.
Lipo 360 refers to circumferential liposuction around the entire midsection — abdomen, flanks, and back — for a more defined waist. VASER lipo (ultrasound-assisted) and laser lipo (laser-assisted) are technology-enhanced variations that may improve skin tightening in certain patients.
How much does Liposuction cost?
Liposuction nationally typically starts at $6,000, with pricing ranging up to $15,000 or more depending on how many body areas are treated.

What to ask your provider
- Am I at or near my goal weight, and is this fat resistant to diet and exercise?
- Which technique do you use — tumescent, VASER, or laser-assisted — and why is it right for my case?
- How many areas will be treated, and what does the quote cover?
- What does the quoted price include — facility, anesthesia, compression garment, and follow-up?
- Do I have skin laxity that might require a tummy tuck or arm lift in addition to liposuction?
- How many liposuction procedures do you perform each month?
