What is an Oxygen Facial?
An oxygen facial uses a pressurized stream of 98% pure oxygen infused with hyaluronic acid, vitamins, and botanical extracts to hydrate and plump the skin. Made famous as a red-carpet treatment (Intraceuticals is the most recognized brand), it is known for delivering an immediate luminous, hydrated glow with zero downtime.
Treatment takes 30 to 45 minutes. There is no redness, peeling, or recovery. Results are visible immediately and are at their peak within 24 to 48 hours, though they are relatively short-lived (3 to 5 days) compared to treatments that stimulate collagen.
An oxygen facial is excellent as a pre-event treatment or as a skin reset between more intensive procedures. It is not a replacement for treatments that produce lasting structural change.
