What is Sylfirm X?
Sylfirm X is an RF (radiofrequency) microneedling device that uses both pulsed wave and continuous wave modes to treat a wider range of skin concerns than standard RF microneedling. It is particularly well-regarded for treating melasma, rosacea, and vascular lesions in addition to the texture, laxity, and scar improvement typical of RF microneedling.
The pulsed wave mode selectively targets abnormal vasculature and melanin, making it uniquely effective for redness and pigmentation that is difficult to treat with other devices. Sessions take 30 to 45 minutes, with downtime of 1 to 3 days of redness and mild swelling. A series of 3 to 4 treatments is typically recommended.
